Thanks to our project, we carry out various measures in selected sites of community importance (SCIs) and special protection areas (SPAs) throughout the Czech Republic to prevent biodiversity loss and to create ideal conditions for maintaining or improving the state of the target features, i.e. a natural habitats or particular plant and animal species.
In order raise awareness of the public and explain why these measures are carried out, the workers of the Nature Conservation Agency have installed information boards.
This year you may be able to see them, for example, in the Jizera Mountains, Beskydy, Slavkovský forest and Czech Karst protected landscape areas and in the south of Moravia. We show the first examples how the boards look like in terrain, in the photos below.
