Module: Communication skills
The ability to communicate effectively is not innate. Fortunately, it is a skill that can be learned and can be developed through training. Communication skills are key to the successful conservation of valuable Natura 2000 sites.
Seminars on effective communication will take the form of passing on good practice experiences from existing conservationists to those who feel they need to improve in this area. Land located in the Natura 2000 network is owned by various entities, farmers, legal entities. Site guarantors, i.e. employees of individual nature conservation authorities, must approach each of the land owners or users individually, use various communication tools and approaches in order to achieve good cooperation and ensure appropriate management for the protected areas.
By 2025, the Nature Conservation Agency will organize at least four full-time attendance seminars. The first one should have taken place in November 2020. We assume it will take place the spring of 2021. We shall inform about other dates.
