Module: Natura 2000 sites management

Thanks to the One Nature project, employees of nature conservation authorities will acquire various knowledge, get acquainted with examples of good practice in management of protected areas and learn to master the necessary tools and procedures for the actual work.

In seminars and field trips (or their multi-day combination), employees will get acquainted with individual project outputs which relate to the so-called management cycle, i.e. they will be presented with methods of monitoring and evaluating the statuses of protected species or areas → setting management priorities → specific examples of target features management → management effectiveness evaluation → setting other target features management goals → and finally an update of the management plan.

Seminars focused mainly on practical teaching and exchange of experience will be given by NCA’s employees. They will take place between 2022 and 2025.
